Fiammante is dark red in color with a bouquet of currant, blackberry, and red pepper. There are notes of hay and damp soil, as well. The tannins are ripe and the finish is persistent. The Fiammante sticks closely with French style, but also maintains Mediterranean typification.
The Fiammante is defined as glorious by the important Italian wine guide, Veronelli, and is “top 22” on taste lists.
Capua Winery was founded by Riccardo and Natasha Capua, with the ideals to breed and experiment with international wines.
